Jesus message was that we love one another, and by this all men would know that we are his disciples.

Is that how his followers are known today?

I have a real problem with Christians today trying to make unkindness some kind of virtue.

I have a real problem with Christians today trying to make unkindness some kind of virtue.

I could not agree more completely! Jesus didn't say we'll be known as His followers because we have kick-ass morals, or because we have political power, or because we go to a big church. It was by our love. Christians today are known as self-righteous bastards who are close-minded and only interested in abortion and homosexuality. That is NOT who I am, and it's not who I want representing me. Non-Believers and the most morally bankrupt people loved being around Jesus and hanging out with Him. Yet they run away from those of us who say we follow Him. Something's wrong with this picture.
