It is interesting how they mock the "hope" and "change" slogans and buzzwords (again: "hope" was never a slogan of Obama's, just something an artist made) but then turn around with "Real America," which is the same exact shit.

The only proper response to "how's that hopey changey stuff working out for you" is "Pretty damn well, considering it kept YOU out of the White House."

Or, you know, maybe "Hey, I should be able to get health care soon, so it's going great!"

Or, "It's going great! How's being the governor of Alaska working .... oh yeah."

Isn't it funny how FOX was using old interviews to promote her show, and now LL and Toby called them on it?

"Real" Americans make fun of Presidents that are "too" educated and call them elitists.

"Real" Americans obviously don't understand irony.

That would have worked better as a "post your own caption" contest.

As much as I loathe Sarah Palin, I don't need/want/like to see her porn-a-cized.

Ha!

If I had to come up with my own caption, it would probably be an Evita reference.

"Don't cry for me, fellow Teabags!"

I drove by Tea Pot Flats a couple of times this weekend. My husband named it that. (You know, I wish the house would stop rolling. We had an earthquake about two minutes ago.) Anyway, it doesn't look like it could hold more than a few thousand folksy folks. An acquaintance said traffic was backed up for several miles and several hours, with some people missing the whole shindig because they were stuck in traffic for three hours.
