Clinton adviser: Kerry ran inconsistent campaign

ALBANY, N.Y. - A top adviser to Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton thinks fellow Democrat John Kerry "ran what was basically an inconsistent campaign'' for president last year, according to a published report Thursday.

Recent independent polls have shown Clinton well ahead of Kerry and his running mate, former Sen. John Edwards, among Democratic voters asked their preference for the 2008 presidential nomination.

Trying to kill of Kerry now?

sounds positively Karl Rove-ian.

wondering if she'll start rumors that her other opponents are lesbians or pedophiles, like good old Karl used to do back in his younger years in Texas. and, heck, in Texas, is there any moral distinction to be made between the two?

;)

and only sort of kidding.

while she has little of her husband's Bono-like charisma or soulfulness, she is one tough cookie. misunderestimated too.

and perhaps this is more of a euthanism for Kerry.

you know, in the spirit of the news today ...

;)

Kerry never had the party. That's probably most of his problem. The Clintons still very much are what people think of when they think of the Democratic Party.

There aren't a lot of other options, as of now, whereas there were about a dozen options in Iowa. Bring on some more competition, and she will probably lose some support.
