You never saw me bolt out of a shower so fast, when I heard who was on the phone....
My buddy is alive, and whole, and in a sandbag tent somewhere near Baghdad. He can't say where, for obvious reasons.
He thinks the 120-day extension of service his unit received (1st AD) is more likely going to be 180, if not more.
Morale sucks, to say the least, and he dearly wants to come home.
We were initially told he'd be coming home right around now.....
Thank you to everyone who has offered up their thoughts and prayers for him. They all need it.
