Our Drama/Their Drama..Im mad

Was thinking /musing over all the blessings we have in our society while coming home from the gym today.
My country.
Your country.
All civilized/ free countries/nations..
vs.
Poor 3rd World countries/nations.

Our Drama-"what to wear tonight"
Their Drama-"wishing they had clothes period"

Our Drama-"No Medical insurance for my annual check up"
Their Drama-"Never had a Doctor period"

Our Drama- "I hate my figure"
Thier Drama-"I wish I had food today"

Our Drama-"The electricity went out"
Their Drama-"Whats electricity?"

Our Drama-"No air conditioning in my car"
Their Drama-"Whats Air-conditioning? Whats a car?""

Our Drama- "Is there enough savings in my 401k?"
Thier Drama-"Whats a 401K? Will I live that long to care?"

Sometimes I feel very guilty...for all the blessings that I/we take for granted..

Don't feel guity about your situation in life, we didn't choose to be born in a free society, just as others don't choose to be born in a 3rd world country, take that guilty feeling and turn it around into joy, happiness, and do something with it that would help others in need.

But don't feel guilty, guilt will take you nowhere

This is what we fail to understand when we are talking about the "equal opportunities everyone has in our system".

It?s ok to feel guilty. Its the daily fight of many Christians. Try to not let yourself be harmed though... try to help positively if you can... try to share the wealth.

Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

Don't let your guilt make you immobile. Since we feel guilty and upset, we need to mobilize now to change things. Guilt is not necessarily a bad thing unless you don't take any action on it.
