Someone we feared as a casualty apparently just dropped her phone as she was fleeing. Some friends of friends are in the hospital otherwise, but it seems everyone I know personally is thankfully safe.

By all early reports, he seems to also have had anger issues and was enraged by seeing gay people kiss or something like that. It's one thing when some people are brainwashed by the ideology, and commit a crime. That happens, quite a lot. But this seems like a guy who used it as his excuse to justify slaughtering gay people out of hate. Time will tell when a picture is painted. |

Chilling. Here in LA they just arrested a man with an arsenal heading to West Hollywood. LA Pride is this weekend and the Pride parade is scheduled for 11. He was going to target the parade. I can't.

Looks like the FBI has been aware of this guy for about 5 years.
He also had a license to carry his handgun, no criminal background, was a licensed security guard and used the same assault rifle that was used at Sandy Hook. |

The President is right, this was an act of terror and and act of hate.
This is a mentally unstable man who glommed onto ISIS propaganda. He was apparently on a watch list, and he had a concealed carry permit. If the NRA bought GOP hadn't had their way he'd have been banned from owning a gun, let alone a fucking assault rifle.
