Right now if Obama doesn't run (which I am not sure yet if he will, because he needs to show to the American people that he's got more going for him besides the rock star status - and believe me, I love the guy, but am not sure he's ready to run a successful bid for President) I have no holy clue. It's looking like Hillary at the moment.

John Edwards is my favorite candidate.
Next week, I'm planning to attend a book signing he'll have for his new book at a Barnes & Noble in Manhattan, and I will have two words for him: "Please run." |

![]() I like Edwards a lot, I'm not sure if he's electable given that he's been out of the spotlight, but Ilike him a lot, he's another guy I'd consider. I am laughing at the "draft Gore" folks but I wouldn't be too opposed to that either - I think he's learned a lot in the past 8 years. Plus, he won once, so maybe he can win again. ![]() |

I'd love to see a "real" Democrat like Howard Dean, but of course that will never happen. My guess is Clinton vs. McCain...somebody else can forecast the winner of that one.

I think Obama's recent musing that he might run was just a ploy to help the Dems in the midterms, and to promote his new book. I think he'll hold off until 2012
