Obama/Clinton Debate in Texas / tonight 8PM ET - Page 2

To me, there were two keys in this debate:

1) Obama must maintain his momentum

2) Clinton must cut off his momentum, paint him as naive and not ready. She has not done that.

That was a great closing comment for Clinton.

Although... I couldn't help but think as she spoke of these wounded soldiers: You voted to authorize sending them over there in the first place!

Good debate! I think Obama was clearly stronger this time.

It'll be interesting to see if the tone changes on Tuesday at the MSNBC debate.

Clinton needed Obama to stumble, instead it was one of his best performances.

I've never heard of Chuck Todd. I rarely watch MSNBC.

I truly only enjoy watching the NBC Nightly News, and then getting the rest of my news from online newspapers. I do catch CNN a bit more than FOX NEWS or MSNBC, etc.

I used to watch CNN a lot more, but MSNBC's political analysis is by far the best. For hard news I generally turn to CNN, but MSNBC really does have the best political team.

The Obama grade on substance is not suprising. He is the king of bullshit.

I actually disagree with Time's final grade on the two based on their formula.

If you do it this way:

A: 4
B:3
C:2
D:1

And average them together, you have:

Obama: B+
Clinton: C

Plus, Clinton's + and - cancel out and she still has another -.

(Yes, I'm this analytical. No, Time isn't the final authority on how the debate is.)
