I thought I'd post this site here.

http://www.glassbooth.com

It connects you to the 2008 presidential candidate that represents your beliefs the best.

So I did the quiz and I ended up with this guy:

Dennis Kucinich shares a 77% similarity with your beliefs
Representative, (D-OH)
Dennis Kucinich was born on October 8, 1946. He is a Democrat from Ohio. He has served the 10th District of Ohio in the U.S. House of Representatives since 1996. Prior to this he was mayor of Cleveland, Ohio. Kucinich is a self-described "Wellstone Democrat."

I don't really know much about him.

Though referencing different sites, these threads seem to serve the same purpose so I'm merging them. :)

Your quiz gave me these three....

1 Fred Thompson 66% similarity
2 Mike Huckabee 65% similarity
3 John McCain 65% similarity

I am not surprised with the percentages since I do not seem to have much in common with many of the candidates.

Other surveys put me a little right of Center so that too makes sense.....

I do not know what happened to Edwards on yours..but he is not there for me like my survey.

Fred Thompson shares a 66% similarity with your beliefs

Health Care very similar
Abortion and Birth Control very similar
Crime and Punishment very similar
Education very similar
Social Security similar
Civil Liberties and Domestic Security similar
Iraq and Foreign Policy similar
Environment and Energy different
Trade and Economics different
Immigration very different
Gay Rights very different

I did this one. (it was the one I saw first). These are my results:

Kucinich -- 98%

No surprise there. ;)

Gravel -- 91%

I certainly seem to go for the no-hopers! :lmao:

Edwards did the best of the known candidates with 81%.

Obama -- 78%
Clinton -- 77%

(see -- they are damned near even on issues I care about.)

Then we get to the Republicans and there is a big drop in similarities.

Paul -- 56%
McCain -- 43%
Thompson -- 39%
Romney -- 34%
Huckabee -- 32%
Giuliani -- 30%

In this one I got Kucinich (five points above anyone else), then Edwards (a couple points above everyone else), Clinton, Gravel, Obama (all pretty much bunched together), then Paul, Giuliani, McCain, Huckabee, Romney. Paul was pretty much in the middle and then there was a big drop of of agreement between the rest of the Repubs and me. Hunter, Thompson and I had no points of agreement on this one.

How you compare

1 Ron Paul 75% similarity
2 Barack Obama 73% similarity
3 Mike Gravel 66% similarity

About what I expected.

"Education very similar find out why
Abortion and Birth Control very similar find out why
Civil Liberties and Domestic Security very similar find out why
Iraq and Foreign Policy very similar find out why
Trade and Economics very similar find out why
Social Security similar find out why
Taxes and Budget similar find out why
Immigration different find out why
Environment and Energy different find out why
Gun Control very different find out why
Health Care very different find out why "
