When the anthrax letters were found on the hill, we found out that our offices were being closed through the news before the chiefs of staffs were briefed on it. :huh:
 
I've found that the UK newspapers are tripping all over themselves in the mad rush to publish the next scoop, often publishing unsourced statements and conjectures in the process.

I think it was the Times that first reported that 25% of the Iraqi army was ready to surrender, according to unspecified UK military sources. This was reported *two days* ago.
