I hate Saddam.... But, lets face it, if we kept our nose out of there country... things could have been a whole lot better...
its when you get people acting on personal greed... that is when one shouldn't be suprised that someone as crazy as suddam would become a bigger threat...
Once we start to threaten their security don't be suprised if they come back to threaten ours.... This trend will not end....

Better for who? Kurds? Iran? Kuwait? Israel? Terrorists?

Interesting dynamic of demands that the US invest more in the world yet keep its nose out of other's business.......

Thank God Israel took out that reactor in 1981 or Saddam would of had a nuclear weapon by 1990.

Well, its considered by most to be almost fact now. It is a fact that Saddam was less than a year a way from getting a Nuclear weapon after the Gulf War when the inspectors were performing their inspections in 1991 after the war. Thats what they discovered. It isn't to hard to see then that the destruction of the Reactor set them back a few years. Yes, a resolution was passed, but not under Chapter VII.
