vincent we had bad timing. wish we could have done a swap so the euros i withdrew at 1.58 on the dollar and the dollars you're withdrawing at 1.28 for a euro could be the other way around....

^Hey, give her some leeway. It was her first shopping trip to fake America New York. Before, she only got what got spilled from Russia right across the porch, but in real Main Street America.

Actually, I believe that $75,000 of that was spent in Minnesota. As one of the panel on 'Morning Joe' said this morning--if you go into Minnesota and spend $75,000, you leave with a house. ;)

Ah, but Senor Crist just said this morning that the McCain campaign has announced that all of Palin's clothes will be donated, so it's "admirable."

Donated to whom, I wonder? I doubt that they'll give a fake American homeless woman a $6,000 suit jacket...:eyebrow:

Okay, so here's Gov. Sarah Palin, the maverick who is going to change reckless spending in Washington:

- $150,000 in new clothes paid for by voters' donations
- Tanning bed installed in the governor's mansion
- Charged Alaskan taxpayers for 300 days' per diem when she was living at home
- $43,900 of taxpayer money for travel for her husband and children from Wasilla to Juneau
- $21,012 of taxpayer money for her children to travel with her to events to which they weren't invited

When are her supporters going to realize that she's no pennypincher at all, but rather just as much of a spendthrift who's as full of crap as anyone else?

They should sell them on ebay. That way Palin's most ardent admirers could battle it out for them. And I bet in many cases they wouldn't even need to dry clean anything. ;)

How do you donate makeovers and hairstyling appointments already kept ?

:coocoo:

Why do you leave me with these images?:doh::lmao:

If she wanted to appeal to her base with her image she should've just taken her top off.

And I just heard on the news her approval rating is lower than Bush's...is that even possible?

.......Wait it gets better; she just said she think the job of the VP is to "get in there with the senate and make policy changes".......

Amazing, really.

You're about 18 hours late with that quote....Matthews, Olbermann, and Maddow absolutely ripped her to shreds for that comment about the job of the VP last night

Ouch, 1.58 hurts. Would have loved to get that rate for myself, but two weeks before my trip the Euro began to depreciate. Wonder if there is a strong correlation.
Living on campus I gladly don't need any money so I will wait what will be happening. Can be bad, can be good.

D'oh, should've foreseen that she would spent the bulk of the money rather in real America.

Donating, huh? First spending taxpayers' money recklessly (let me emphasize: taxpayers' money) for own luxury stuff, then getting caught and suddenly it's up for donation.
That's shameless.

Daily Kos: UPDATED: Is Sarah Palin This Amazingly Stupid?

Why is this well known Democrat, former Hillary supporter voting for McCain and singing praises about Sarah Palin?

Do we really want to get into a discussion of the content of people's knowledge in here? I mean, really? Let's see what shakes out of that bush!

Who is she?

I don’t know what her qualifications are, but I do know her from Fox and Friends. She’s on almost every single day, but is always introduced as if it’s the first time she’s ever been on… “our next guest is a FORMER CLINTON BACKER WHO NOW BACKS McCAIN! Found out why, and what her thoughts are on Obama being a secret Muslim terrorist, sorry, I mean rumours, sorry, I mean other people starting these wild rumours, I mean, sorry, the socialist, wait, econo, no way, umm… Go Sarah! Back after these messages!!”

they're wrong if they switch from left to right, but correct if they switch from right to left.

only in fym.
