Please do not turn this thread into a debate about the current situation. This is only for those who do not condone the Israeli government's military assault against the Palestinian civilian population and wish to make their voice heard. Please keep the debate over in the other thread, and please also do not interpret this letter as condoning the terrorist activity against the Israeli citizens either. Thank you.

I am contacting you to express my deep sense of outrage at the appalling behavior of the Israeli government in carrying out its latest wave of state sponsored terror against the Palestinian people. Nearly every government of the world considers the Israeli occupation of the West Bank and Gaza to be illegal, yet the U.S. government continues to sanction the military occupation of the innocent Palestinian civilian population.

It is unconscionable that our tax dollars are being used to kill and repress innocent civilians. No more U.S. aid to Israel until it complies with international laws respecting the human rights of the Palestinian people, including cessation of Israeli settlements within the West Bank and Gaza, and a complete withdrawal from the occupied territories.
