What did your mind see when you first read the title of the thread?

God is nowhere

or

God is now here

Just curious? Why do you think your mind read it one way or the other?

I saw it as nowhere in my religion class the other night....

It kinda bummed me out that I saw it that way.

No offense Dreadsox, but I wouldn't take that seriously as some sort of "litmus test" for whatever. I know you realize that..

It's what's in your heart and your soul that matters

None taken, it just hit me as odd that I saw it one way first and not the other.

I was disappointed in myself.

Interesting. I say nowhere as well.

Perhaps it was the affect of FYM

Well clearly it is because I have not had a true change of heart with my newfound conversion....LOL:wink:

God's certainly not here in this forum and most people on here believe He's nowhere, so I read it nowhere. Now, in church, I would've read it now here.

See, now I believe God is present in here.......more present in here than in most churches I have attended.

Hmmmmm......I just had an idea for another thread!!!!!

I read it as 'nowhere'. Not surprising, given my state of mind after the US elections.

I'll probably see it as 'now here', after the British elections, though.

Ant.

Nowhere.

But I think this is mainly a case of phonics rather than something deeper.

Of course, I'm wrong at least 14 times a day.

I am now here. I am here now.

Thinking rationally

"nowhere"

is much more commonly used.

godisherenow

is how one would convey that thought.

But one can wallow in guilt

we know we are all lowsome sinners.

Do not deviate from the program.

I read nowhere, but if I´m not mistaken, now here wouldn´t be the right, ehm, syntax. God is here now, or now God is here is correct gramatically.

Exactly.

Also the devil smilie.

And it probably doesn't help that i'm agnostic...

I saw it as "no where"

I thought the thread would be about a website or an article or something

for an excellent extrapolation of this word game read douglas coupland's hey nostradamus.

with the devil sign, it read nowhere for me. Also, it seemed like an attention-grabber common to FYM. I don't think it has anything to do with your faith.
