We are all given the right to speak our mind. What is your take on this?

They have a right to an anti-war protest, but wont allow other to speak out what they believe in. That is my opinion.

 What?! What are you saying? Who wasn't allowing who not to speak?

In the video the people that came to protest for the war were drowned out by yells and their signs were taken down that they were holding. I am neutral in this.

Well they were highly outnumbered. I really don't see it is a freedom of speech issue. It would have been a freedom of speech issue if they were arrested or not allowed to enter the rally.

As much as that was heartbreaking to watch,i agree its not a freedom of speech issue.
Its a issue of poor rallying,i'm sure with the right exposure people from all over the world would join fellow Americans on a anti-war protest at this pro-war rally, then you would hear the roar of the people, your eardrums will burst!

I recognize the people that came into the rally. The people carrying those huge signs went to an anti-war rally with their pro-war signs.

So? Happens every day, in BOTH directions. Think of all the people that protest things like Bush's inauguration. Bush spoke at our commencement in May and there were like 30 people standing at the corner protesting a friggin commencement. North of here, a woman wearing a John Kerry pin attending a Bush rally took a bunch of shit from everyone. If anything, all these situations do is PROVE that free speech exists. I would never go to a rally of something opposite of what I believe in and make my own opposite signs...but if other people want to...that's their business. What's the point here?

I guess I watched the wrong video, because it sure looked like the other way around...

They should have worded the video differently. Now I remember the video from a site called Protestwarrior. It was on the local news about how they go to anti war protest with their pro-war message.

Well the video you linked is definately a pro-war rally. There's no doubt.

Can you imagine if that crowd came to the bay area during an anti-war rally. It wont look pretty.

Problem with any of these rallies, be it either side, is that the most unintelligent are the ones that get the attention.

There was another video I saw that was posted by them. Well a lady was yelling at them, that if a dictator gave free medical and education I like that dictator. She said some other stuff also.

I've been to all kinds of rallies in my life. Those with opposing views always show up.

Rewatching the video I noticed the person initially carrying off the "Anti-War" protest signs is a BLUE KNIGHT I hope that he was only there in the interest of protecting the lonely soul who was stating his view, and not to escort him away (this would be a freedom of speech issue). Protesting against the war at a PRO war rally alone, there is a fine line between insanity and bravery. :eyebrow:
