Clear proof that Iraq has been liberated
A Baghdad boy band called Known to No One is getting a try-out with a British music promoter. The hype is starting already for this band, which used to rehearse in an old Volkswagen. They sing in English and are said to have "a Western style." Promoter Peter Whitehead says he'll go hear them but has already decided that "we will be sending in a production team to make a really good single." (There's a joke here somewhere about the ultimate triumph of Babylon, but I can't quite make it work. Maybe if this band took up reggae ....)
