Ok let me set the ground rules, for I don't want this to turn into a pointless Bush bashing thread.

I want a discussion of policies or actions that Bush has done so far that they believe have benefitted this country or hurt this country.

Only DOMESTIC policies for I don't want a fight over the war or resolution talk.

Let's have an intelligent discussion here.

No, "Bush is an idiot" or "Bush is sexy" one liners either.

OK now play nice.

Or I'll hurt you.:madspit:

The economic policies are bearing fruit.

Core inflation remains stable.
Wholesale inflation dropped last month.
Housing starts are up.
Unemployment on downward trend.
Wages continue to climb.

Is it perfect for everyone? No - but it never is. The overall economy is in exceptionally good shape.

Actually, the economy was starting its downturn to recession when GWB took office. Part of this is due to natural cycles outside of a Administration's control.

Housing starts is the measure of construction of new residential units. It is used as a sign of a robust economy when people are looking to buy new homes.

Of course, there are some of us who will never be able to own a home where we live.

ok these are good things

you left off the list:

since he has become President
there are more Americans than ever before
seniors are living longer
Brittany Speres had a healthy baby boy

kidding aside, no offense

i am sure I can come up with a policy or two he has enacted
that has made things better for more than just the privileged classes like me.

did I mention my net worth is way up (in the 7 figure range)
since he took office, tis true

i am thinking about building condos on some property I own at the beach

plus the lowering of long term capital gains to only 15% it has never been cheaper to cash out

i can get a million, give the feds 150 and keep 850 for me

if my neighbor is a working stiff and earns 200K what will be his split?

"only in america"

:don king:
make a killing and it is legal
