MaxFisher, do you view donating money as the only way to sacrifice or support something.
It seems like the sacrifices are defined by the amount of money one donated.

But there are other possibilities to support something or sacrifice, than donating money, and the can be even bigger than $1 million.

Of course I don't think monetary support is the only way to back something. I just think Bruce Willis is the first celebrit to publicaly state that he will shell out his own money for info to help fight the war on terror. I never said that one can't sacrifice in ways other than money.

His last movie bombed and his beautiful ex-wife just married a hot young thing after a lengthy well-publicized romance. Guess his wallet is just the ticket for some desperately needed publicity. At least the other celebs mentioned here have long been outspoken politically and continue to make good movies (so they don't need the publicity). So I guess their efforts just seem a bit more sincere to me. But in general I don't have a problem with celebs getting involved politically at all.
