British cop killed in Ricin raid
This is sad... I don't think this poor guy should have died. When the US deals with terror suspects they take all kinds of precautions, I guess this is what happens when you don't:

I listen to BBC news in the evenings. Brithish police do not carry guns. They have been mostly successful with this policy. There is a rise in gun violence and some are advocating for arming the police with guns.
It would be interesting to hear opinions from British members about this. |

Damn. I'm just sorry this guy had to lose his life. I briefly saw a headline before I went to work that said "Britain stunned by police death in terror raid" or something to that effect. My condolences to the police officer's family and other loved ones.

if that person were a law abiding citizen, he wouldn't have attacked a police officer.
interesting choice of weapon if they arm the cops, will they feel more secure? you brits ought to be more than sad |
