Is anybody reading or going to read Jim Wallis's "God's Politics: A New Vision For Faith And Politics In America'? This is the book that has been all over the news lately..ie Christians who are turned off by the religious debate between the right AND the Left. (Count me as one of these..I see this book as manna from Heaven. I was on the Soujerners site today.)
FYI, there''s a blurb from Bono at the top of the back cover...interesting choice of words! Sounds like lyrics too...Great way to get the book to sell
Please, no opinons yet, until you've actually read it. It'll take me a while...meaty and heady stuff, at first glance. ZThis guy has truly done America a public service. I thought people lik eme were a minority. I've just finsished my own personal (and successful) ticket saga...and I'm drained...
