Teresa Heinz Kerry is a very strong woman who doesn't mince words. Sure, she's not exactly the most diplomatic political wife around; in fact, she's no doubt one of the least diplomatic political wives I know of. This doesn't exact make her an asset to her husband's campaign.

Anybody, man or woman, have to watch themselves sometimes when they are public figures. Look how Dean went down after his mouth got out of control.

Actually Dean went down more to sound technical errors that night -- the mikes /or other equipment so that the broadcast/reporters' feed did not pick up most of the crowd's response which was from alot of younger, fired-up volunteers., even before his prompting.

His yell/"scream" thus was totally upfront and not more integrated into the over all LOUD crowd noise "mix" as it all really sounded to those who were there and reported as such.

Very few if any in the mainstream news made that point.

If you're talking about embarassing relatives, Neil Bush is more in line with this than Theresa. His S&P scandal cost the country millions of dollars and his wife divorced him after he gave her herpes from a prostitute in Asia. The Bushes have been smart to keep him from the spotlight and have Jeb do his work.

If you want Billy Carter look up John Edwards's brother. Its very sad, he's alot like a bum. He's never brought up and the family distances themselves from them. I've seen a recent picture of him, you would have no idea he was John Edwards's brother. I can't think of his name though.

I did not know that. I hope for two things. One, that his brother does not get pulled into the campaign. Second, that Edwards can privately help him.
