'Scuse me. I'm Scottish and nothing bad has ever happened to me here. Sure, I wouldn't go to dodgy parts of Glasgow late at night but who would? The crime rate is very much dependent on which part you're in. In the roughest (and may I add, poorest) areas of Scotland (and poorest areas of Britain, too), that is where most of it happens. That is not to say we don't have crime in 'better' areas but we have a population of about 5million. I refuse to believe if they actually studied every single country, we'd be top. There would be no one left! lol!
