It seems we've got the run of the place for the next bit. You can all come hang here with me on my porch, where I plan to sit in a lawn chair holding an oversized novelty Number 1 finger, hoping to catch a glimpse of one of those celebrations down South. The finger is a very effective communicating device, let me tell you. I use it all the time. Very self-affirming in the presence of defeaning displays of independence.


For those Commonwealthers out there, make sure to let the Queen know where you'll be and when you'll be home. Bring your own OHHH face. I can't guarantee them.
