Good girl.

Pasta is so simple. You have to do it fresh - not the pasta in itself (much work), but cooking and the sauce.

Sometimes I do fresh Lasagne.

Cutting the pasta? Eeeek. That?s weird. :eyebrow:

abel, my homemade sauce is so good, it's all you need.
i'm half italian, you know.

but no, i had it with penne.

I wish I had some of your sauce to go with my spaghetti....I had sauce from a jar :|

making sauce isn't that hard, just combine all the ingredients in a big pan and let it simmer for a while. the hard part is finding a good recipe. i love my mom's recipe.

now all i need to do is try out my meatballs recipe and i'll make a lovely spaghetti with meatballs. and then i'll try lasagna.

Yay! :applaud:

My sauce is pretty simple actually, but tastes really good.

One can tomato sauce
A couple cloves of fresh garlic chopped up
Some parsley
A bit of onions
Browned ground beef (if you want)
Dash of salt and pepper

Simmer covered on low heat for about an hour.

I never measure anything.. real italian cooks just guesstimate

i live on pasta now...and cereal. Hmmm, the sauce ideas are good to know...I try to make my own, but only sometimes succeed...

mine's almost the same, but i use ground italian sausage/stewed tomatoes instead.

I just mix ground beef with some canned pasta

good enough for rock and rool

my mom's recipe isn't very exact either:

one can tomato paste
one can tomato sauce
italian seasoning
thyme
sugar (for those with sensitive stomachs)
couple bay leaves
mrs. dash
ground beef or chicken

Secrets from Hiphop?s italian kitchen part 1:

If you want to make it a real italian tomato sauce, you should add very small pieces of carrots, to make the sauce more sweet (makes the taste of the tomatoes more fine). You can also add a very little sugar. Be careful with the garlic ;)

The tomato/ meat sauce per la Lasagne has some more secret ingredients, mhmmm.
