It's official #schedule change

Well my schedule at work is changing, starting tomorrow, which is why I got today off. My new hours I'll be working are 8am - 4pm. I will hate having to get up early (at least for a while till I get used to it). I'm definitely not a morning person

My new days off will be Sunday and Monday, instead of Friday and Saturday. It will take some getting used to, but I guess it's an ok schedule. I'll be able to stay up late on Saturday night now

At least I'll have evenings free which will be nice, for getting together with friends, etc., and not getting home at 9 in the evening.

And I'll get to browse the forums when there's more action going on

I will however miss late nights here in IO

I working 8-5. I am not a morning person either but I like to have my evenings free.

I used to work 3-midnight for 8 years ..

I used to work 4-midnite ...didn't like that much either, especially coming home late in the dark in bad weather

There was a time I worked 11PM-6AM! Currently I work from 5pm-10:15pm

I love not having to work evenings or weekends unless I have a shitload of work to catch up on.

The hardest part about my new schedule will be making myself go to bed early

And I probably just did the worst thing by taking a nap for a couple hours...I didn't mean to, just fell asleep watching tv.

I hate schedule changes....if I ever get a shift where I work past 6 pm...I get all cranky and I'm so used to working 6-3 that sleeping past 5 am is a luxury for me.
