The entire premise of the American Jrs. is so commercial; think not, then why does the moderator always leave us in suspense until "after the break!" More commercials to see at the kids expense? Seeing few children rewarded while many others are defeated on live National TV can be devastating and I don't even know these children.

I agree that being not chosen or rewarded is a learning lesson that we must all experience, this show is still setting these kids and others across the world for the harsh realities at such a young age.

For example, I've coached Little League for each of my three boys; to tell two or three of your team members that they've made all stars while the others weren't is difficult at this age;

Don't you think the parents are partly to blame for exposing their children to commercialism at such an early age??? Sometimes I believe that its the parents that are portraying themselves through their own children...I don't agree with this show or the concept, Am I wrong to think this????
