no one uses the coins cos they suck

and vending machines don't take them

$2 bill? that's up there with getting canadian coins back...i never understood how they'll come out of the vending machine, but you can't get them back in. conspiracy? coca cola is actually canadian, isn't it...:hmm:
 
i hear you're supposed to blame them for things, not kille conversations with them

we stopped having ?1 notes in the uk years and years ago. I think I preferred them - they weren't so heavy in your wallet as the coins are.

I also remember 1/2pence coins - which would be about as much use as something not very useful nowadays. I used to go to the local shop to get 1/2p sweets. Them were the days!
