Last week I applied for a marketing position for a local wellness clinic that specializes in yoga, massage, mind/body work, etc. They are expanding and moving to a new location and now have to increase the size of their staff. I faxed my resume after work and within 20 minutes, I got a call for an interview. My interview is next week.
I think I have a pretty good shot. I do have marketing experience, plus I’ve been interested in alternative wellness for quite a while. I’m the contributing editor to a local yoga magazine and that’s got to count for something. I also have a portfolio with examples of my work, both marketing/PR projects and writing samples. Plus, it’s a pretty positive thing that I was called within 20 minutes of faxing over my resume rather than having my resume sit on someone’s desk for over a month.
Anyway, could all of you keep me in your thoughts and prayers and send some positive vibes and good karma? I could really use it. Thanks.
