have fun...i guess....i don't know, i don't really support gambling at casinos...

card games with a bunch of buddies are another thing

I wish I lived near a casino.

So you have enough money to blow on casinos near your house but not in Vegas? :|

I'm not a big gambler either. Which is odd seeing as how i was in fact, concieved there. In fact, when i was in Vegas I gambled exactly one quarter. And it wasnt even mine.

We go by this casino regularly, but seldom go inside

Last Christmas I went to Vegas...

craps are fuuuuuuuun.....

I put a few chips down on the pass zone. Didn't do anything. And then-- BAM! I win some chips back....

ultra-

funny i stumble into this thread after just getting back from a casino...gambling is a trap, set up by people who hate you, who want to watch you suffer, by satanic pit bosses with scowling smiles, who have evil henchmen called dealers, who love to eat flesh, who thirst for blood, whose fangs are showing as they say "place your bets!" in casinos there are demons disguised as cocktail waitresses who distribute poison to players every ten minutes, god love 'em...poison that pollutes your brain into thinking..."i can win it back!" do not enter the devil's lair, people...please...run for your lives from this evil...

(this opinion will change, of course, when i have not lost every dime like i did tonight...)

I've never been there but I go to Mystic Lake, or as my friends and I call it, Mistake Lake, about once or twice a year. I won $150.00 on a few nickels last year. Other than that I've never won a damn thing:(

Yep. Mistake Lake indeed. I'm not a gambler, but i can say my very own "ex" personally paid for the entire new left wing of that building.

I won $40 there once. Still didnt keep me wanting to go back for more tho. Once i was up i was like "OK LETS GO!!!"

just remember...

you have these big fucking claws and these huge fangs!

you'd have more money to fool around with but then you'd lose when you crosses over unless you stayed over there and spent it all on moose steaks

I hope that didn't come off as making fun of Canadians Angel

Bassy is right, there's always the trade off - I get 'extra' money when I start out, but even if I win big, I cash in my chips and get less than I thought I would. It just seeems like the money lasts longer when I go to Canada - I always decide a set amount of what I'm going to play with before I go - and if that's $100 American, I can play with that a bit longer when I get $140 Canadian to go off with than that same $100 at a Detroit casino

Man, IO is now the Minnesota and Canada hang-out.

Which means I qualify because I was born in St. Paul!
