My son sleeps with his black flannel sheets all year round. Typically male I don't think he washes them very often either. Ewe gross.....

I like flannel sheets in the winter.

It's not a whole lot warmer here, but it's definitely too warm for those. I've changed them up to my regular cotton ones.
