Fireworks do rule. I remember I went to the official opening of the big arts centre here (the Esplanade) last year and there was one heck of a fireworks show by the harbour. Beautiful stuff.

i was just thinking while i was at work this morning how cool it is that the fourth of july is almost here, because it's my favorite holiday. there is a fireworks show over the colorado river that i love, i watch it from the beach. and now, on my lunch break, i find a fireworks thread. weird...

Woo hoo! I just got back...it was a ton of fun, definitely the biggest fireworks display I've seen yet. Shrapnel was falling on us...my friend picked up a huge piece of a shell. Some ash got in my eye and I thought I was going to lose my eyesight, my contact, or both, but I'm ok now. I tried not to look up after that happened, since there was a lot of debris coming down.

Didn't anyone click the fireworks link? I love that site!
