It's Official, do not drink hot tea in front of your laptop

yes folks, that is what I am encouraging you all not to do. I being the clutz knocked over a cup of hot tea all over my laptop that I have for work. Because of my foolishness, I almost killed the laptop by spraying a can of air all over it after I spilt the tea. My asst and I had a brilliant idea that if we sprayed air on the laptop in between the keys the liquid will fly out. Well since this was a can of air, the air that was sprayed out ended up forming a layer of ice all over my keyboard! OOPS!

Needless to say it is F*#ked but it still works for the most part. I have to pack my damn keyboard from my old desktop to travel with me until the IT people take a look at it. The keys on the laptop do not work properly.

i try to only drink a bottle of soda with a lid when i'm next to my computer.

I wrecked our last pc, I left it on during a thunderstorm (not on purpose the phone rang and this storm started, before I had a chance to turn it off the electric had all gone off) and the inside was "frazzled" according to the pc repairman.
I do know not to drink beside the computer though
