We sometimes get loo paper scattered around the place. If the door to the bathroom is left open and the muttly dog decides he's bored, he often pulls it off the roll and runs happily around the place like a lunatic.

We go through a lot of loo paper as a result.

Sigh.

Actually that has nothing to do with your camera. LOL Don't believe me? Go ahead and take any camera and point it at any computer screen or TV. That white part (sometimes seen as black on other monitors) is the scanning ray guns scanning the actual surface of the screen. There's a fancy psychological name for why we can't see those white bars scroll down our screens (but I can't remember it). Basically our minds trick us into thinking that what we are looking at is one solid picture. But if you ever point a video camera to a tv, because the difference in frequencies you can actually see the screen flicker or "scan". It's been a problem that has plagued camera operators for since who knows.
