I just got back from Rite Aid to pick up my antibiotics for my tonsil issue and I think they thought I was a shoplifter. They told me it would be about a 10-15 wait for my prescription, so since I live a five minute walk away, I decided to just stay and look at Valentine's stuff and cards (since I still have to get a present for Sam and our six month anniversary is next month) while I waited. The security person came up to me once and asked if he could help me and I said, "No thanks, I'm just looking." Then a few minutes later, I noticed he was kinda following me around. Then he came up to me and said, "Do you live in the area?" and I said, "Yes....?" and then he asked, "How old are you?" and I was like, "Uh, I'm 22....I'm waiting for a prescription" and he said, "Oh!!" and walked away. I guess he was going to call my parents and tell them I was skipping school to shoplift from Rite Aid! Granted, I didn't have any makeup on and had my hair in a ponytail, but I didn't think I looked THAT young.

Now I'm all paranoid that I look like a juvenile delinquint.

That happened to me before...I was window shopping in the mall and this guard thought that because I wasn't buying anything I must be stealing.

i've had that happen to me before too where i was followed around by this geeky looking wannabe security guard. and then my friend who works there said 'hey wasup.' he walked away real fast.


this may not be related to this topic but...i used to take pictures of the guys i caught stealing from my workplace. i have 2 pictures still in my photo album.

I would have said'what the &%#* is it to you".This guy could have been a pervert.I would have asked for credentials and his supervisors name. Then I would have said if he didn't leave me alone, I'm going to file a complaint.

Once when I worked in a supermarket when I was 16 as my first job like a year and a half ago then these 2 studentsbought something from me and they stole lots of lemonade and were carted off to get shouted at but the securty guard let him free and I got a lecture about not watching the shoplifting tape properly

But I did....I even knew the names of the methods they use to shoplift
