My dad just called and told me that we didn't have to wait for him for the dinner. I dashed out and told my mom this, completely forgotten that I've pressed the lock button of my room.

2 seconds later, 'BANG!...'

30 seconds later, I found out that I've put the keys of my room in a drawer INSIDE my room.

Am I stupid or what?

One time, I locked myself out of the house when I was home alone. I had just gotten out of the shower, so I was wearing an old wrinkled shirt and shorts, had wet hair, and was barefoot. I also happened to have a Barbie doll in my hand. To get out of the backyard, I had to go through the gate. However, Dad's truck was backed up almost tight against the gate. I managed to get out, but then I had to crawl under Dad's truck through the dirt to get to the front yard. The front door was locked, so I was left with no choice but to go over to my neighbor's house (in the neighborhood we had just moved to) to use their phone...

BC: *begins walking to neighbor's house*

*turns and around and ditches Barbie doll in my mailbox so that they won't see her and think I'm REALLY weird*

*walks back to neighbor's knocks neighbor's door*

Neighbor: *comes to door, sees barefoot girl with soaking wet hair, covered in dirt*

BC: Hi, I'm your new neighbor! I got locked out of my house. Can I use your phone?

They must have thought I was a freak!

I locked the door because I was trying to study. After I went out of the room, I don't know why but I happened to press the lock button down. Therefore when the door was closed, I was locked outside...

hahahah christi, you silly girl! I was imagining (when I heard the credit card thing) that you had a lock like those hotel locks with the card on your door, and I was thinking, "now why would she have a lock like that on her room???"

I used to have the pop-up ones when I was little and we always used bobby pins to unlock em. Anywho, hope you're happily back in your room! Oh yeah and can I have your email lil sis?
