most forums aren't the same anymore since it was decided upon that nothing is as funny as using this smilie:

I would like to know:
when was this decided
why was this decided
and why did no one consult me

to be brutally honest:
I stopped finding most things funny when inside jokes/comments became the content of 70% of all posts

luckily there still are enough funny + interesting threads to keep things interesting enough for me

EYNIW is definitely not the same anymore.

To me at least it just isn't. It's just not fun!

I agree about the inside jokes thread, half of the time I'm like

???? Oh well, maybe that's why I don't really feel the urge or need to really be here, since I haven't posted in a long time. :/ But I also agree, there's still some funny and interesting posts that keeps me coming back!
