i'm watching alice in wonderland and it's always been one of my favorite disney movies, but it also kind of scares me.

Beauty and the beast is my fave

Gettin it on DVD for Christmas :hyper:

is there any point in the movie when Alice shouts "boom cha"?
if not I don't need to see it

"Kinda reminds me when I worked in Hardee's...and you pissed me off, and I spit in your fuckin' food. That ain't no way to be..."

I really like that Tom Petty video with the Alice in Wonderland motif, and the tea party and all that.

Damn...what's that song called? "Don't Come Around Here No More"?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that is what that song is called...

`But I don't want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked.
`Oh, you can't help that,' said the Cat: `we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad.'
`How do you know I'm mad?' said Alice.
`You must be,' said the Cat, `or you wouldn't have come here.'
Alice didn't think that proved it at all; however, she went on` And how do you know that you're mad?'
`To begin with,' said the Cat, `a dog's not mad. You grant that?'
`I suppose so,' said Alice.
`Well, then,' the Cat went on, `you see, a dog growls when it's angry, and wags its tail when it's pleased. Now I growl when I'm pleased, and wag my tail when I'm angry. Therefore I'm mad.'

"'The time has come,' the Walrus said,
'To talk of many things:
Of shoes and ships and sealing wax,
Of cabbages and kings,
And why the sea is boiling hot,
And whether pigs have wings.'

'But wait a bit,' the Oysters cried,
'Before we have our chat;
For some of us are out of breath,
And all of us are fat!'
'No hurry!' said the Carpenter.
They thanked him much for that."

two other Disney films I also grew up with and loved....

er...no...but sometimes I feel like I'm on weed when I watch Alice in Wonderland :crack:

I watched alice in wonderland before

last year

after having a lot of "leaf"

and it was an interesting movie going experience to say the least

One of the rumors, or maybe it was true?

was that Lewis Carroll used opium a lot when he wrote the "Alice Books".

Or maybe it was just because he was really into math and it gave him really strange ideas for kids books.

I really like the part where the Mad Hatter is trying to fix his watch, and he puts jam and sugar and all this stuff into it.

And then Alice suggests mustard, and he gets very offended. Corny, I know, but it cracks me up.

Oh, and wasn't lewis carroll arrested for/accused of something not so good...??? oops, i mean his real name - charles dodgson or something??
