i just decorated my apartment for christmas. i was putting my cute little village together and i got out the little people and there were heads and limbs everywhere. i don't know what the hell happened to them in the box. it's like christmas carnage in here.

thank god my mom is staying with me today and is quite the glue gun master. she is also sewing a button on my cammies right now.

i pretty much suck at everything.

hi.

:|

I remember when my 95 Escort blew up in my garage in 12th grade, the entire contents of the attic fell into the engine-compartment of what was my mom's car.. When I walked into the charred wreckage of the former garage of my house, all I could see, in the middle of black, were the shiney colours of Christmas ornaments. Somehow, the metallic paint lived through the fire. I suppose someone somewhere was trying to tell me that despite what blackness lay around me and at my feet, Christmas would come, and a new year would come, and reset the clock, and that somehow, things do work out.

I dont feel like decorating my apartment.

All I have are um.. lights.. and some garland shit.

Trees = $ + messy + no room :mad:

We don't get a Christmas tree because our kitty cats would climb it and possibly hurt themselves. Luckily this year, we've turned our mantle and built-in entertainment wall into a holiday wonderland.

I bought myself a pretty 2 1/2ft fibre optic Christmas tree today. Except I had to leave it at work tonight

Tomorrow there will be Christmas!! :D

*hopes her little village people haven't been dismembered.

I used to love the christmas trees FULL of multi colored lights and garland and tinsle....it just looked so homely.

Now they got them looking like f*cking factory products. all white lights and everything even and the stupid red and white theme.

it's not the same...
xmas trees should be a big mess of lights and colors and tinsel and garland

We're gettin our tree early this year cuz my moms havin a party on friday too :D

OMG! Have you all noticed that too?!! When I walking around my neighborhood today, I saw how ALL the houses were using white lights and those damn icicle looking lights on their houses. No one was using the traditional multi-colored string lights. I would hate to think the multi-color were "so 5 years ago!!" but jaysys - I'm hardpressed to find anymore! It like, I have to go to a Tex-mex restaurant to see the colored lights I  so much!

Our family tree is usually covered with so much shit you can't even see the tree! Which is nice because I think the cats are scared of it. But I agree, soon they'll all be made of shiny aluminum! *cue Charlie Brown Christmas music*

I can't decorate the apartment. I can't even walk around, except in my room. My roommates are remodeling the kitchen, so there are boxes EVERYWHERE in the living room.

hey now, we do that to our house!

just the two columns on our "porch," because then they look like candy canes. it was my idea and i was doing it long before the soccer moms took to it. :madspit:

decorating

I can't decorate because my roommates are not the decorating type. I do enjoy seeing all the lights people put out though. Of course, I think decorations look 10x better with snow, which never come to LA. Sad, really.

On the bright side, I will be flying to Chicago for Christmas!

were not going to decorate at my place neither

I still have yet to decorate :reject:

You can't have a tree without the colored lights, tons of tinsel and lots of garland....I'll have to find pics of my trees :)

Daisy, your avatar reminds of the guy that lives across the street from my parents. He has a giant grinch in a santa suit on his lawn.
