Well it passed me by. In my part of the world, '8' is considered a lucky number because it sounds like the Chinese word for 'luck'. And I had 888 just now. Now it's 889, but 9 sounds like 'long', so hopefully I'll get long luck.

Actually, this is less of a superstition thread than a 'oh my God I've clicked 'submit reply' nearly 900 times' kind of revelation.
