IO: I've watched so much Maury Povich...

...that I recognize the guests that return. Multiple times. And I've probably seen all of their prior appearances.

But, in my defense, I work the late shift and it's the only thing on at 1:30 am after I get back from work...lol.

Be safe in the comfort that at least you will never be brought on the show for 25 paternity tests with 5 different women

So Ricktoria came back last night. She'd been there four different times, and I think I saw all four of them...lol. Her mother was sleeping with her boyfriend, then Ricktoria forgave her boyfriend. Then it was discovered that her mother hadn't stopped sleeping with her boyfriend, and her mother revealed she was trying to get pregnant. Another hysterical fit. The mother broke it off, and Ricktoria forgave her boyfriend again. Then this latest time, it was revealed that her boyfriend had been cheating on her with over 20 other women...lol. If I didn't know that most of these people were actors, I'd think they were really stupid.

Maury's so nice... but I hate that he has to resort to a form of Springerism for his show. Can't he do something like the view or whatever?

I love it when the woman is like:

"I know it's him. I'm 1000% sure. I'm 10000% sure!"

Then just before the paternity test results are revealed she's ragging on him for him to apologize for not being around their baby.

Then Maury says...

"You are..."

And she gets all excited.

"...NOT the father."

Then the man jumps up and down all excited. Her face suddenly switches to crying and she runs all the way into the back of the stage crying, while Maury is like:

"It's okay. We can do another test, if you want. Have any idea who else it might be?"

LOL...

Just to note, where I live, the cable franchise has long since determined that this street does not have enough population to warrant installing a cable infrastructure. Hence, it is not an option for me.

Last night was the teenagers hell bent on getting pregnant. Like...

"I'm 15 years old, and I'd be a great mother. I'd buy diapers and formula and my baby daddy would love me. I've been trying to get pregnant since I was 11, and my mother can just fuck off."

Of course, mind you, the 15 year old girl dresses like a slut and screams at the top of her lungs and throws in a lot more obscenities than I can think of.

My favorite girl, at one point, was the 13 year old who thought she could raise her baby through child support and working at the zoo.

Melon, I'm cleaning the crap out of my house. I could send you an extra set of playing cards.

Playing solitaire on a table would be a more productive use of your brain cells, you know.

I've been reading Umberto Eco's "Foucault's Pendulum" before it comes on, so, at least, you can say I do do something productive.

Ooo, tell me how that is. I've had a copy for years, but I haven't read it yet.

Well, you can tell me when I get back from Yellowstone.

I thought you had already read that one since you recommended it instead of Da Vinci Code.

I started reading it well over a year ago. Stopped reading everything for some reason or another. Picked it up again recently.

I've loved it the entire time.
