io: im mildly retarded

i tried opening a can of soup today for a snack.

i couldnt do it. its the first time ive tried. i couldnt figure out how to use that can opener thingy. i ended up grinding some of the metal off the side.

luckily my brother (whos 12 years older than me, so he can do stuff) was home and was able to open it for me.

i needed soup.

i wish i were kidding.

I was opening tins of food and helping wash veg before I was tall enough to see over the worktop I used to have to do it standing on a chair or my Mum made me wash vegetables and stuff at the kitchen table.

I dont know why but this reminds me of the time my brother trapped himself under the fridge but was saved just about by the door of the dishwasher being open and keeping the fridge from falling to the ground.
