a friend of mine used to drink - on average - 3 liter of soda per day. Now he's down to 1.

I couldn't do it. One year I decided to give up Coke and other fizzy drinks for lent. I found that quite difficult, but when Easter Sunday arrived I didn't want to drink it. I thought it tasted awful. Hardly touch it now, and when I do I drink the diet variety - which is worse!

Have you seen the scene in the movie "Elf" where "Buddy" drinks a 2 liter bottle of Pepsi in less that a minute! Too funny!
