I don't like direct deposit either, but I finally signed up for it because my work is retarded and only lets you pick up your paycheck during certain hours/days which are of course when I'm not there .

i didn't have direct deposit for a long time... i liked having the money in my hand. i finally gave in and loved it... i can take sick days on pay days now

but seeing as i didn't see my checks anymore, i just annoyed the paystubs i was getting and figured that they were taking the proper amount of taxes out...

they weren't.
