An official vote

Today was a momentous day in the life of Lara Mullen

At 7am I went to the polling station armed with voting card and driving licence as prove of id and voted in the election

It was exciting

I was first person in my area in the polling station

Now I will have to keep myself up-to-date with the election news

I feel good now

I wonder if Maddie is going to vote today

I voted with numbers 1-17 so I only voted for 3 parties but then when I came out my mum said I should have used all 17 votes and put my least favourite party #17

I thought it was better giving them no vote

I was badly informed of this

But still I voted for my favourites

I voted for the first time about a month and a half ago

Why don't you all have compulsory voting???? That is so weird! I do know why, I am just amazing over this fact once more. Voting becomes a pain in the arse here, but everyone loves a good bitch and whinge about it so everyone is kinda ok with it. plus the fines add up to something like $500 if you dont so...

I think i would still vote if I had the choice.

Ihave read some comments about them and it sbeen disgraceful

did you hear about the riots in derry last night

The counts havent come through for our area - South Antrim

apparently I thought I would have been north belfast - apparently not but whatever
