So, everyone has their top ten, but what about their bottom ten? Here's mine, in alphabetical order (and, unlike my top ten, not likely to change at short notice):

Grace
HMTMKMKM
If you wear that Velvet Dress
Miami
Mothers of the Disappeared
Red Light
The Refugee
Salome
When Love Comes to Town
Wire

I only have a few songs that i dont like...
Sarjovo,
First time i feel love,
These are the hands that built America,
Grace,

Thats it really..

Love Rescue Me
Grace
The Playboy Mansion
The Refugee
Peace on Earth
Stranger in a Strange Land
Red Light
Trip Through Your Wires
Scarlet
Miami

another time another place
stranger in a strange land
indian summer sky
the three sunrises
some days are better than others
the first time
last night on earth
wild honey
peace on earth
grace

in no particular order....

1. Peace on Earth
(too corny...)

2. The Playboy Mansion
(Can you say B-Side?? I just dont like the lyrics and the music is boring.)

3. Somedays are Better Than Others
(I think Eno wasnt at the studio the day they put this on the master, this was supposedly gonna be the "fun" song on the album but in the end its not good and is a horrible attempt at TTTYAATW.)

4. Love Rescue Me
(I dont care if Dylan was involved in it)

5. Elvis Presley and America
(WHAT? WHAT? WHAT IS THIS? Maybe you can educate my mind..)

6. Red Light
(uhh....hmmmm....yup)

7. The Refugee
(another song I have programmed to skip-over when I put the CD in)

8. Stranger in a Stange Land
(probably the worst song on my least favorite u2 album...and I love "October." I'm a big fan.)

9. Scarlet
(this song has its moments I enjoy, but I couldnt pick a song from BOY, so it gets put on the list.)

10. New Day - Wyclef Jean track
(I figured this was our least favorite u2 ALBUM tracks but I had to put this on here, also cause I dont have any other ones I really dislike. I think Wyclef kidnapped Bono, threw him in his car, and then hotboxed it for 5 hours, making him incoherent and unaware that he was going to record maybe the worst song ever.)

In the end, I could only come up with 9 tracks I really dislike and never listen to...not bad for 25 years of music.

I am apalled at some of your choices. but everyone is entitled to their own opinion. here are mione, in no particular order:

1. Miami
2. If you Wear that Velvet Dress
3. Some Days are Better than Others
4. The Playboy Mansion
5. Baby Face

and i don't necessarily not like these songs, but IMHO, not their best work

Dirty Day
Indian Summer Sky
Elvis Presley & America
Heartland
Unchained Melody
Miami
The First Time
Refugee
Peace On Earth
Any U2 single turned into a dance remix.

Miami
The Playboy Mansion
When Love Comes to Town
Love Rescue Me
Grace
Babyface
Stuck in a Moment (I LOVE the lyrics, but the melody has never doen anything for me)
Miss Sarajevo
Fourth of July
Tryin' to Throw Your Arms Around the World

Elvis Presely And America
Shadows And Tall Trees
Stranger In A Strange Land
When Love Comes To Town
Red Light
Drowning Man (It's growing on me though  )
Trying To Throw Your Arms Around The World
Peace On Earth
Grace
United Colors (If we're counting Passengers)

I think I've listened to Elvis Presley And America, When Love Comes To Town, and United Colors maybe 5 times in total.

in no order, but probably my least favourite U2 songs

- Is That All
- If God Will Send His Angels
- Stranger in a Strange Land
- Even Better Than The Real Thing
- The Playboy Mansion
- Trying to Throw Your Arms
- The Ocean
- When I Look At The World
- 4th of July
- Refugee

Is That All?
Some Days Are Better Than Others
Miami
Party Girl
Elvis Ate America (if you can count Passengers)
Boy/Girl
Beautiful Day (overated and I'm sick of hearing it all the friggin' time)

in order, I have every song they've put on an album ranked :)
need to do b-sides and sountrack songs etc.

(non-Passengers list)
1-Stranger in a Strange Land
2-Shadows and Tall Trees
3-Another Time, Another Place
4-Red Light
5-A Day Without Me
6-With A Shout
7-Stories for Boys
8-Babyface
9-Grace
10-Two Hearts Beat as One

Grace appears to be on everyone's list.
Miami is on a lit of lists too, but that is a good song.

you guys are killing me; some of my favorite tunes are on your lists.....

for starters, HMTMKMKM is their most kickin ass tune ever...I'll never undrstand that choice.:|

Elvis Presley and America, while admittedly not a "tune" has an amazing vibe to it. especially when you consider Bono improvised the "lyrics" on the first take.

"Miami" kicks ass, I don't care how many people hate it.:madspit:

"Tryin to throw" and "Grace" are beutiful, eloquent, understated tunes that capture something special.

"The First Time" is basically a beutiful solo for Bono, and it contains some of his best falsetto ever.

Whoever said "Heartland" needs to have their head checked.

:coocoo: poetry in music, man.

sorry if I chose any of your picks, but hey, even their worst songs are still great.

10-Two Hearts Beat as One

I almost agree with this one, except for "Grace" , "Stories for Boys", and "Two Hearts".
I would replace them with "The Refugee", "An Cat Dubh", and "The Ocean".

so I guess mine is:
1. stranger in a strange land
2. shadows and tall trees
3. another time another place
4. red light
5. a day without me
6. with a shout
7. babyface
8. the refugee
9. an cat dubh
10. the ocean

01 Last Night On Earth
02 Discotheque
03 Do You Feel Loved
04 The Hand That Build America
05 Electrical Storm
06 Peace On Earth
07 When I Look At The World
08 With A Shout
09 Where Did It All Go Wrong
10 Always

l love MIAMI !!!
yesterday i gave POP another chance, but it failed again. LNOE the worst U2 song of all time. bad production quality and Bonos voice as on other POP tracks sounds very very pressed.

Some of you are completely mad. I was knocked sideways by some of the choices.

My list;

10. Ultra Violet (Light My Way) - most over-rated U2 song EVER; the start has promise but the rest of it puts me to sleep and the lyrics are popcrap.
9. In A Little While - The "man takes a rocketship" verse is the only redeeming feature.
8. North And South Of The River - SNORE. Though the Omagh Tribute is wonderful.
7. Tryin' To Throw Your Arms Around The World - This isn't even worthy of being a b-side.
6. Wild Honey - Popcrap.
5. Babyface - I would call it popcrap if it weren't for the worthwhile social commentary.
4. If You Wear That Velvet Dress - Is it too much to ask for the song to actually be AUDIBLE?
3. The Playboy Mansion - SNORE.
The only two I do NOT like
2. Miami - Would be #1 but the live merger with Bullet saves it.
1. The worst U2 song ... RED LIGHT. I have tried so hard to like this song, but the more I listen to it, the more I hate it.

I have a hard time listening to the first three albums (not the sound, but Bono's voice is...ugh) and Passengers (hello self-indulgence)

Least favorite? Not in any order

Wire (never did anything for me)

Numb (this was a single?)

Daddy's gonna pay for your crashed car (one of U2's worst "anything goes" moments)

Playboy mansion (not the lyrics, the melody...U2 using samples?)

Miami (lyrics and melody)

If god will send his angels (awkward melody and certain rhymes)

Last night on earth (see previous song)

Do you feel loved (Mofo and Discotheque were much better attempts at techno, and Even better than the real thing has better lyrics on that topic)

Wake up dead man (just because it's so depressive, and again, awkward sound of the band)

Wanderer (Bono is not singing on a U2 album?!?)
