11) Zooropa
12) Passengers Orginal Soundtracks 1

I came up with this list by averaging out my iTunees star ratings for the songs on the albums. Here it is:

1 - Achtung Baby - My all-time favorite album by anyone ever.

2 - The Joshua Tree - Very close second.

3 - Boy - This was a bit of a surprise to me. This really is one of their most solid releases.

4 - Zooropa - not a perfect album by any means but absolutely brilliant none the less.

5 - The Unforgettable Fire - An absolute masterpiece of ambience and atmosphere.

6 - War - Of U2s better albums, this is one of the weaker ones. A couple of mediocre songs on the second half keep this from being a total classic. Also, SBS studio is overrated.

7 - How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb - I consider this one to be the "worst of the best" of the albums.

8 - POP - This one would be the "best of the worst"

9 - October - Really not a bad album at all. Lots of really good songs but few great ones.

10 - All That You Can't Leave Behind - Has some really good songs and a few really bad songs. Production is so boring and a few lyrical clunkers keep this from being the "3rd masterpiece" we were all promised.

11 - Original Soundtracks 1 - I absolutely love most of this album. It is great for what it is. There are a few meandering tracks and the awful EAA that keep this from being a more solid release.

12 - Rattle and Hum - To many mediocre live covers that water down all the solid material, making this the worst U2 release ever. Oddly it came right between the 2 undisputed masterpieces.

1. Achtung Baby (by far their best work to date, every single track is worth listening)
2. Boy (Vertigo tour made me listen to Boy again, and I must say that it is uncredible for a first album, so fresh, so good!)
3. Joshua Tree (not listening to it anymore, but still remains the reference in U2's career)
4. HTDAAB (almost 2 years later, I can't get enough of it..... lot's of great songs, just a few fillers, impressive after 25 years)
5. POP (so many good songs in this album, unfortunately killed by the media at the time, not a great Tour either.... however songs like Mofo, Gone, Please and Wake up dead man are some of my favourite)
6. WAR (I like the rage they had at the time, 4-5 great songs, 2-3 bad ones, overall, average U2 album)
7. The Unforgattable fire (Bad is in my top 5 U2 song, the best live song for sure. Besides that, a few good songs like UF, MLK, Wire and of course Pride....but also 1-2 fillers)
8. ATYCLB (too commercial for me, however, I very like When I look at the world, Kite, In a little while and New York, the others are not that good....)
9. Zooropa (too special for me, even though I like changes.... I love songs like Zooropa, Lemon, Stay, Dirty Day though....)
10. R&H (it's the album that made me discover U2, however, 17 years after, I think it is dated, has no density and should have been only live or only studio. I love God Part2, Helter Skelter, All I want is you..... dislike a lot When love comes to town, Love rescue me....)
11. October (I'm always surprised to put it last on my list, because I really like the first half of the album.....I guess I don't like the second half!!!)
