Thanks for clarifying who Bono is. I didn't know.

(Sorry, I couldn't resist! )

With regards to the original poster's set:

In the far future, Bono dies but Pavarotti's still alive to sing Miss Sarajevo?

If all the times Bono had crowds sing happy birthday to him didn't kill him, maybe nothing will  Nice catch--I got a little creeped out by how morbid this thread was, and I didn't read closely enough.

What's the big deal...it's just a hypothetical question. Pretend it's a tribute concert, and that he's still alive...i dunno...
Dirty Day and Mofo- Thom Yorke
Drowning Man- Matthew Bellamy
40- Eddie Vedder
I Will Follow- Sting
The Ocean- Robert Smith
An Cat Dubh/Into The Heart- Alex Kapranos
City of Blinding Lights- Chris Martin
Bullet The Blue Sky- Zack de la Rocha
(with much additional profanity!)
Desire- Lead singer from Jet

There, was that so morbid?

Bono would descend from the heavens to play at his own tribute concert.

i once almost started a thread asking which member of u2 you would eat if your plane crashed in the mountains "Alive" style.

now that would have been a morbid thread

the only thing that could kill Bono is AIDS... why do you think he fights so hard against it?

I also would've accepted "snakes"

I take this thread over half of the other braindead threads in this part of the forum any day.
