well i happened to be online that night and at about 11:58 remembered about it and hit the site

must admit it was kind of anti-climactic to see...does anyone know if this is even officially U2's doing? even a brief flash movie or something would have been a bit better....or some type of promo commercial

It's just like the countdown thing on my cell phone. When it passes the 0 mark, it starts to count "up" or like how many days has passed since the event's happened. Took me a while to realize that though.
