voting for the unforgettable fire. it brings back a lot of memories for me, it has this magical atmosphere... near-perfect!

Why doesn't anyone like 4th of July? It's eerie and visceral, I love it!

BTW, I voted Pride.

I think the worst song on the album is Elvis Presley and America.
 
A Sort of Homecoming


I am sure Bad will win this round and it has become, over the years, a stronger song than A Sort of Homecoming, but it is my sentimental favourite of this album.

I always remember the first time I put this new album on the "turntable" after racing out to get it on its release and being blown away by this opening song.

It was like nothing else that was being done at the time and so different from earlier U2 albums. Epic, poetic, heartfelt, image-laden genius. :)
