Okay, Edgette posted these over in PLEBA this weekend and ever since we've all been wondering -- What happened to Edge? We know is that this pic was taken in Belgium in Oct. of 1981 and that's about it. Does anyone remember this incident? Much thanks...

I checked the U2 Live book, as well as the first issue of Collectormania (which had an article about U2's concerts in the Netherlands in October 1981), but I could not find any reference to The Edge wearing an eye-patch. So I have no idea what happened.
